The coin was never supposed to sit in a 2226 lab. It was built for 2026 — programmed for this exact year long before he ever picked it up. All ROBOCAT did was stamp his logo on it. He didn't know it already knew the way home.
He didn't open the portal. The coin did. And it gave him one job: rewrite the story before the story writes itself.
